Jim McNulty made his first start since his kidney removal in February as a strong Albion XI won 2-0 against Shoreham at Middle Road.
McNulty played for an hour in a Seagulls side captained by Adam El-Abd and featuring the likes of Colin Hawkins and Kevin McLeod.
Jamie Smith celebrated signing a one-year contract earlier in the day by setting up the first goal for scholar George Barker on 73 minutes and scoring the second himself five minutes later.
