Eastbourne Borough were without four key players as they took on Kidderminster at the Aggborough Stadium.

Marc Pullan (thigh) was the only one of their injured quartet to be passed fit.

Skipper Paul Armstrong (bruised hip) had a pre-match fitness test but was not declared fit enough to play while Matt Smart (ankle) and Neil Jenkins (hamstring) were also ruled out.

The other absentee was goalkeeper Danny Knowles, who was serving a one-match ban following his red card in Monday's 2-1 defeat at home to Ebbsfleet.

Michael Jordan came in for his first league start of the season in goal, Darren Baker returned in the unusual position of left-back with Dan Brown switching to central midfield.

Dan Smith returned on the bench after being omitted from the 16 on Monday and he was joined by both goalkeeping coach Dean Lightwood and Matt Hurley, who signed from Shoreham in the summer.

Kidderminster included Eastbourne-born Chris McPhee, who began his career with Albion.
