Rushden and Diamonds cruised to a comfortable victory against Eastbourne Borough at Nene Park.
Borough had done a decent job of frustrating the home side during the first half but fell behind in the 45th minute when on-loan Crawley striker Jefferson Louis headed home from a Craig Farrell free kick.
Rushden doubled their advantage in the 52nd minute when Micheal Corcoran headed home at the far post from Farrell's corner.
Borough failed to register a shot on target all night and Rushden could have won by more with Sam Smith going close twice and Jamie Stuart heading narrowly wide.
