Richard Hudson scored the only goal as Bognor made it two wins in four days by beating Carshalton 1-0 to boost their fight against relegation from Ryman premier.

Hudson ran on to Jason Prior’s return pass from his own free-kick to curl home a delightful right-foot shot from close on 25 yards out in the 71st minute to secure another three valuable points.

Horsham conceded twice in the first quarter of an hour and never recoveredas they went down 2-1 at Sutton United. Pat Harding hit Hornets' late consolation.

Hastings United's push for a play-off place suffered a setback as they lost 1-0 away to Wealdstone.

In Ryman division one, Burgess Hill won 3-2 at Sittingbourne despite having Justin Gregory sent off for a second bookable offence on the half-hour mark.

Hillians led 2-1 at that stage through Will Berry and Lloyd Cotton and Steve Harper hit a late third before Sittingbourne pulled another back.

John Westcott scored the only goal as Horsham YMCA beat Walton Casuals 1-0 while Eastbourne Town remain bottom after going down by the same scoreline away to leaders Folkestone Invicta.
