Peter Brezovan wants to cement his place as Albion’s undisputed No. 1 with a hat-trick of clean sheets.
Brezovan faces his old club Swindon at Withdean on Saturday after successive shut-outs against Exeter and Colchester.
The giant Slovakian is eager to avenge Albion’s 2-1 defeat at the County Ground in December, their last away from home in League One.
Brezovan said: “It will be great to play against them again.
“I know some of the guys, so I am always interested in what is happening there. It would be great to beat them. We hadn’t won at home for a long time until we beat Exeter.
“Clean sheets are a good feeling for the goalkeeper and the back four as well. That will only increase our confidence.
“I am in goal and I want to keep myself there. These clean sheets can only help me.”
Brezovan, on a short-term contract until the end of the season, has a chance to establish himself between the posts now that Michel Kuipers has been ruled out for the rest of the campaign by a broken finger.
“That is frustrating for any goalkeeper and I feel for him,” Brezovan said. “We are friends, we have fun every day together in training and it’s a shame for him. He’ll be back. He’s a strong guy. I’m not worried about that.
“I am ready for the challenge. It’s up to me, if I play well I’ll stay in goal. If someone else comes, I’ll fight for that first position.”
