Albion fans will have to wait for their first glimpse of Diego Arismendi.
The midfielder on loan from Stoke is not in contention for Saturday's visit by Swindon, as he has still not recovered from a thigh injury suffered in training.
The Seagulls hope to have the Uruguayan available for next Tuesday's home game against Brentford.
Meanwhile, the formalities of Kazenga LuaLua's loan extension from Newcastle for the rest of the season have been completed.
Centre half James Tunnicliffe is staying on loan to MK Dons for a second month, although Albion now have an instant recall option.
