Manager Danny Bloor says he will have a new striker in place for Eastbourne Town’s match against fellow relegation battlers Whitstable Town at the Saffrons tomorrow.
Goal-shy Town have failed to score in their last three matches although they produced a much improved performance in midweek when they lost 1-0 at Folkestone following a disappointing 2-0 loss at Worthing last Saturday.
Bloor said: “By hook or by crook, I will have another forward signed for the Whitstable game.
“Our problem is we just cannot score. I can shuffle the pack and defensively we look okay but we are not scoring so we need to find someone.”
Town desperately need a win as Whitstable are currently occupying the spot outside the relegation places and need to be hauled back into the dogfight.
