Eastbourne Borough have signed midfielder Luke Rooney on loan for the rest of the season.
The 19-year-old has made 13 appearances for Gillingham in League One this season and recently signed a new two-year deal at the Priestfield.
Rooney impressed during a month on loan at Lewes last season where he played six games.
He is an attacking midfielder and has netted twice this season for Gillingham, including on his debut in a 3-0 win over Exeter and a stunning strike against Southampton.
