Simon Weatherstone scored the only goal of the game after nine minutes as holders Eastbourne Borough beat Whitehawk to book a place in the semi-finals of the Sussex Senior Cup.
Evan Archibald was on target for the sixth time in seven games as Worthing went four points clear at the top of Ryman division one south thanks to a 2-0 victory Walton Casuals.
