Diego Arismendi is on course for his first appearance in the Albion squad at Oldham on Saturday.
The defensive midfielder has been sidelined by a thigh injury since his loan move from Stoke last month.
Assistant manager Mauricio Taricco, speaking before training today, revealed: "Diego is very much likely to be available. We are hoping he will be training fully today.
"We think he will be there but there is obviously training tomorrow as well and then the manager will make a final decision.
"He has been looking forward to coming and playing games but these things happen. He needs to be strong-minded and look forward."

I know the opposition wasn't great but I can't see anything on this site yet about the reserves' match last night.
