Albion enjoyed a 1-0 win over Aberdeen at Withdean today - but it should have been a lot more.
Elliott Bennett fired a spectacular winner into the top corner on 37 minutes but the Seagulls' domination deserved more reward.
Jamie Smith, who had a really lively afternoon, went closest to a second goal with a drive against the post.
Gordon Greer and sub Glenn Murray wasted good chances and keeper Mark Howard produced some decent saves.
Aberdeen almost nicked a 90th minute leveller when Michael Paton's volley clipped the post.
But, finishing apart, the Seagulls will be delighted with this run out in front of a crowd of 2,821, which included 516 away fans.
Albion: Poke (Walker 77); Calderon (Whing 77), Elphick, Greer, Painter; Navarro (Battipiedi 77), Kishishev (Dicker 69), Sparrow; Smith (Baz 77), Barnes (Murray 77), Bennett (Holroyd 77).
