Will Buckley is facing only a short injury lay-off for Albion.

A scan has revealed only minor damage to the hamstring which forced the winger out of Saturday's victory at Portsmouth.

Buckley misses the trip to Cardiff tomorrow night but could be available as soon as Saturday's home game against Blackpool.

Boss Gus Poyet said: "It's good news, nothing serious.

"He is not going to be available tomorrow but we are going to see if we have him for Saturday. He's got a chance.

"We thought he had pulled his hamstring but it is not a tear, it's just tight.

"It will depend on his recovery rate. It could be three, four or five days maximum.

"It depends if it is too risky or not, because we will have Kazenga (LuaLua) ready for Saturday.

LuaLua (hamstring) and Will Hoskins (hip) are both in the travelling party which left The Amex for Wales at lunchtime.

Poyet said: "They are fit. We'll see if they are going to play or not.

"It's a bit of a risk but I am sure at least one of them is going to be in the squad, maybe the two of them.

"But with the other situation in mind (Buckley) I don't want to risk too much so probably the one we need the most is going to be there."
