Vokes could fit the bill

Albion are keeping an eye on Wolves’ Welsh international centre forward Sam Vokes, who is approaching the end of his fifth loan move away from Molineux at Burnley.

The 22-year-old former Bournemouth marksman was a second half sub in Burnley’s 1-0 win against nine-man Albion at The Amex last month.

Albion boss Gus Poyet wants to sign a target man this month to support record buy Craig Mackail-Smith.

Interesting to see the photo of Tunniciffe. He had a torrid time of it last evenng against the rampant Rhodes. Now he would have been a signing! Vokes has never been a prolific scorer and has not done much it seems in any loan spell. Wolves would surely not let him leave permanently. Might be a blind alley.

On another note, there are still thousands of tickets available for todays FA Cup game, against Wrexham, KO15:00. A great chance for non season ticket holders to come along to the AMEX Arena, visit our world class home and support the team. Book online at the clubs website, or call the club ticketline 0844 327 1901, or go to either of the clubs ticket offices

Liking the marketing drive from you Alan fair play to you I like your style!
Lets get those tickets sold.
On another note Sam Vokes is a target man who is very mobile and will offer the option to free up CMS as he is getting way to much attention from defences this season a provider more than a scorer. Good luck today to the lads hopefully we will not be the victims of a giant kill

Why is it that on the website about 10 days ago this game was marked as sold out, and then suddenly without notice there are loads of tickets available?
