Albion can expect to find themselves up against a caretaker manager when they go to Leeds on Saturday.
Stand-in Neil Redfearn is expected to remain in charge for at least one more game after stepping up when Simon Grayson was sacked.
The former Barnsley midfielder could even retain command for the rest of the season.
Grayson was axed last week after a 4-1 home defeat to Birmingham City, along with coaches Ian Miller, Glynn Snodin and Andy Beasley.
Redfearn, who had been reserve team coach, stepped up for a flattering 3-0 win at nine-man Bristol City last Saturday and has earned praise for his man-management.
