Albion have appointed Andy Beasley as goalkeeping coach in place of Tony Godden.

Beasley, 48, joins from Leeds where he spent six years as head goalkeeping coach until manager Simon Grason was sacked in February and worked previously with Seagulls chief Gus Poyet.

Beasley's playing career in the lower leagues included nine years with Mansfield.

Former West Brom stalwart Godden, 56, was appointed by Poyet's predecessor Russell Slade in February 2009 after Paul Crichton left for Norwich.
