GB hockey girls lose semi-final

Despair for Great Britain's women
Brighton's Ashleigh Ball and the GB hockey girls were beaten 2-1 by Argentina in their semi-final tonight.
GB fell behind early on, Noel Barrionuevo converting an early penalty corner.
They fell further adrift appraoching the interval, Carla Rebecchi squeezing the ball in from the tightest of angles.
GB improved after the break and Alex Danson halved the arrears with just over five minutes remaining.
Argentina now play the Netherlands in the final on Friday night (8pm). GB face New Zealand in the fight for bronze on Friday afternoon (3.30pm).
