Scott Neilson has joined Grimsby on a three-month loan
Crawley winger Scott Neilson has joined Grimsby Town on loan.
Neilson scored the goal at Accrington on the final day last season which sealed promotion to League One but has found opportunities limited under new boss Richie Barker.
The former Bradford City player has made just one appearance so far when he came off the bench to score a superb winner against Gillingham in the JP Trophy two weeks ago.
He has joined Grimsby for three months and goes straight into the squad for the Blue Square premier clash with Luton on Friday.
