Crawley gave their fans plenty to cheer last night
Crawley boss Richie Barker said he was proud of his players after they suffered a heartbreaking defeat to Swansea City last night.
Goals from Josh Simpson and Hope Akpan had put Reds on course for a famous victory at the Broadfield Stadium .
But Swansea fought back to score a stoppage-time winner which booked their place in the last 16 of the Capital One Cup.
Barker said: “I am extremely proud of every one of them. If we play like that week in week out and show the same level of desire we will win more games than we lose.
“The performance was always going to be more important than the result and I thought we were fantastic.”
