Sussex pair help England reach World T20 final

Sarah Taylor made Sarah Taylor made

Sussex duo Sarah Taylor and Holly Colvin helped guide England to the final of the World Twenty20 with a comfortable seven-wicket victory over New Zealand today.

Left-arm spinner Colvin took 2-15 from four overs as the Kiwis were restricted to just 93-8 from their 20 overs after being put in to bat. Taylor also made two stumpings while being involved in two run outs as New Zealand were unable to break the shackles.

Skipper Charlotte Edwards got England's run chase off to a good start with 33 from 37 balls before Taylor took them over the line with 16 bals to spare with an unbeaten 21.

England will now face either Australia or West Indies - who play in the other semi-final tomorrow - in the final on Sunday.
