David to start as Albion make changes

Albion have made four changes to their starting XI as they tackle Derby – and handed out a full debut.

David Lopez gets his first start for the Seagulls as they look to bounce back from home disappointments and score a fourth successive win on the road.

Bruno is back from a groin injury to resume at right-back.

The other changes come further forward as Gary Dicker and Will Buckley return.

Rams’ first-choice keeper Frank Fielding is missing today through injury so Adam Legzdins comes into the side.

Derby: Legzdins; Brayford, Keogh, Buxton, O’Connor; Coutts, Hendrick, Bryson, Hughes; Robinson, Sammon. Subs: Deeney, Gjokaj, Freeman, Davies, Jacobs, Tyson, Bennett.

Albion: Kuszczak; Bruno, Greer, El-Abd, Bridge; Bridcutt, Dicker, Orlandi; David, Buckley, Barnes. Subs: Ankergren, Calderon, Dunk, Hammond, Dobbie, Agdestein, LuaLua.

Well apart from Barnes starting, I wanted Dobbie, this is exactly the team I wanted. I did suggest that Lopez might only get 40 minutes, I think that still is likely, but this is a lineup that none of us has seen and one I am sure we have been working toward. What a pity that CMS couldn't make it but maybe next time.

Hope you guys are right, but I'm not at all confident about today's game. Last two games have shown just how important CMS is to this team. Without him, we don't seem to have a focal point. Be delighted with a 0-0 to be honest.

Half time 0-0, now we have to hope that Derby don't play for a point. I guess Buckley wasn't as fit as they hoped he was now perhaps we will see why Dobbie was bought.

Not good enough at present--this game and past games have plenty of shots on goal but no one seems to know how to score. All these new players with such 'potential' but as yet not delivering the goods.
