Davis returns for Reds
2:06pm Saturday 20th October 2012 in Sport By Steve Hollis
Defender Claude Davis returns from injury as one of two changes for Crawley's game at Hartlepool United today.
Davis missed the last three games with a recurrence of a thigh problem but comes into the centre of defence in place of Joe Walsh, who drops out of the squad altogether.
Jonathan Forte also gets a rare start for Reds in place of Nicky Ajose in attack as Crawley bid to end a run of nine games without a goal for any of their strikers.
Hartlepool (4-4-2): Flinders; Austin, Collins, Baldwin, Holden; Franks, Sweeney, Walton, Poole; Howard, Noble. Subs: McHugh, Humphreys, Luscombe, Rutherford, Richards, Buddle, Hawkins.
Crawley (4-4-2): P Jones; Byrne, McFadzean, Davis, Sadler; M Jones, Akpan, Simpson, Adams; Forte, Alexander. Subs not used: Kuipers, Connolly, Hunt, Torres, Bulman, Ajose, Clarke.
