Kuszczak back, Bolton ring the changes

Tomasz Kuszczak Tomasz Kuszczak

Tomasz Kuszczak is fit for action for Albion as they host Bolton today.

The goalkeeper returns after a finger injury as the only change to the side which kicked off the win at Huddersfield last week.

Andrew Crofts, who missed that match due to paternal leave, is among the subs.

Peter Brezovan is the back-up goalkeeper after his 90-minute outing in place of Kuszczak at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Bolton have sprung a few surprises, notably leaving experienced striker Kevin Davies on the bench.

He is replaced by Benik Afobe as one of four changes although David Ngog is likely to move into the centre-forward role in a 4-2-3-1 set-up.

Albion: Kuszczak; Bruno, Greer, Dunk, Painter; Bridcutt, Crofts, Orlandi; Buckley, Barnes, Mackail-Smith. Subs: Brezovan, Hoskins, Crofts, Dobbie, Calderon, Dicker, Lopez.

Bolton: Bogdan; Mears, Mills, Knight, Warnock; Ream, M Davies; Afobe, Pratley, Eagles, Ngog. Subs: Lynch, Andrews, K.Davies, Ricketts, Spearing, Lee, Butterfield.

Ref: Mark Haywood (West Yorks)

If that was even true (and it is demonstrably not) then maybe, just MAYBE Poyet sees something in him that you and the other 20,000 cannot? Like the ability to play to instruction, defend when needed, pop up with the odd goal here and there. Or are you saying you know more about football that the manager?

. I actually think I may know more than poyet. I certainly wouldn't let him take my teams penalties.

Whatever his merits, he must NEVER be allowed to take another penalty.

13 shots, 7 on target, 6 corners and a missed penalty, this is not going to turn into, 'one of those days,' is it?

Let's hope it takes a missed penalty to realise that Barnes is a passenger

What difference does it make to you. Going by the times of your posts, you weren't even at the game!
