Poyet thrilled by flying start
11:18pm Tuesday 27th November 2012 in Albion By Brian Owen
Dean Hammond celebrates his goal for Albion
Gus Poyet admits he was delighted to get a flying start at The Amex tonight.
The Seagulls scored twice in the first 26 minutes to beat Bristol City 2-0.
They were not at their fluent best but comfortably secured a fourth home win of the season and extended their unbeaten run to seven games.
Poyet said: “The start was the key - to get two goals early and then be patient, manage the game in the right way and always be a threat going forward.
“Overall it was a good professional performance.”
Andrea Orlandi scored his first goal for the club with a free-kick which freakishly curled straight in when he was looking for the head of a team-mate.
Poyet added: “Everybody is looking for that inswinging ball that, if nobody touches it, it is very difficult for the goalkeeper.
“Luckily enough today it went in.
“But we created good chances and, on another day, we would have gone on and scored a couple more. I’m pleased.”

A cruise maybe, but still a below par performance against a rubbish team.
Made worse by the utterly disgusting behaviour of the stewards who were removing Albion fans for no good reason from the North Stand. BHAFC you should be ashamed of yourselves for treating your fans in this manner. 10 stewards and several police officers are not required to remove a pensioner who is a season ticket holder for simply not sitting down on request. Disgraceful!”

Last three home games have been:
23,703 Bolton
26,455 Posh
24,044 B City
If you can show me how that pattern represents 'slowly going down' then you're some kind of maths wizard.

The first time i have seen the albion at the amex and a great team and such a beautiful stadium completely let down by i the atmosphere . The twelth man was very quiet and absent at times . The albion chant of albiooon , albiooon was the best that could be drummed up . it is the chant to put u to sleep and at times it appeared to put the crowd to sleep and players . No banners flying , no scarves held high , no drum , very few songs sung , ... to sum it up , the performance of the twelth man was bad , so bad we would be near the bottom of the twelth man league .When i left the ground and approached the railway bridge with thousand of albion fans i broke the silence with SEAGULLS, SEAGULLS!!! 2 NIL TO THE ALBION !! Fans turned and looked around with faces as long as west st . Reminded me of the zombies on the Walking dead series lol

If it's not that there were 2k less than the last game, it's that there was no atmosphere. Who the hell cares?
Try just enjoying the game and if you sing and others don't, then so be it. If you turn up and 3k others don't, so be it.
Last night we got the win, that's what matters. Results count.
If you want entertainment with your football then do something about it. Please don't keep crapping on about the **** attendance and the lack of atmosphere. There was no atmosphere at Withdean and the attendance was low.
I did not have to keep reading and listening to others tell me that.
