Gus Poyet has renewed his call for today's derby to pass off peacefully.

The Albion boss hopes fans stay out of trouble in the game with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Poyet said: "There are great opportunities to go and enjoy and support your team to your best. That’s it.

"It is about giving your maximum as a fan and expecting your team to give you the maximum because it is one of the most important games of the season.

"Go and support us and we will try our best to give you a very good afternoon.

"Don’t look for anything else because there is nothing else."

Palace boss Ian Holloway said: "We are all civilised people.

"Just because you support a team, you should not want to knock ten bells out of somebody else."
