Buckley rally call for test at Valley
5:00pm Wednesday 5th December 2012 in Albion By Brian Owen
Will Buckley wants the backing of supporters
Albion must break down the joint meanest defence in the Championship – on current form – if they are to get their fans cheering again.
The Seagulls go to Charlton on Saturday looking to put derby defeat at nearby Crystal Palace behind them.
Charlton have conceded just one goal in the last five games, and that from a penalty.
Only Millwall, with whom they drew 0-0 last Saturday, can match that record.
Goakeeper Ben Hamer said: “Brighton are a good passing side and their stats show they are good away from home.” Albion will be backed by about 3,000 travelling supporters and winger Will Buckley said: “Hopefully the fans stick by us.
“That’s what we need to do now. We need to win on Saturday.”
Meanwhile, Albion have been drawn away to either Lancing or Oakwood in the last 16 of the Sussex Senior Cup. The tie will take place at the end of January.

I think the gander will be well up. So pleased Chris Powell was given a fair time,it would have been so easy to sack him after a short time. But Charlton gave him a go,..and what a great manager he is proving ,for a very good team.
I hope we have enough of our lads fit enough,to kick their butts.
I`ll settle for a respectable draw, but will look for an attacking win. BHA .

I sincerely hope the press voodoo has been eliminated - the one where players talk to the press 72 hours before the match and then fail to get a seat on the bus... Buckers must surely be the first name on the sheet. As for the rest, well I wouldn't like to choose but that is a problem GP has brought upon himself. Given the present circumstances Hosko must also start - leaving him out on Saturday was a joke. I think Buckers can count on the usual unwavering support in the stands on Saturday - hopefully we will all be recompensed with a massive 3 points.
