Look at attendances up and down the country yesterday, we did better than most and our game was charged at full price and was on national television. Why not look at it from a positive viewpoint. Because some Season Ticket Holders didnt attend yesterday, it gave those who can't afford Season Tickets the chance to attend our wonderful home. You should also consider that many people dont just have one Season Ticket to pay for, I for example have three!

Not sure that I agree with your claim that playing Arsenal will be another test of how we are, no more than Newcastle were.

Playing in the cup is different for all concerned, no pressure and no points, just money. None of the championship teams are thinking possible trophy at this stage, quarter finals before that kicks in.

The side we put our yesterday wasn't our best eleven and I doubt we will put them out against Swans or Gunners, it's the cup, no more than the opposition will either, but both teams will have strong elevens.

Arsenal will want to beat us, if they can beat the Swans, of that there is no doubt. There are matches to be played prior to the cup game and after, injuries will be on the minds of the managers. Sorry you are probably right its just that where i sit C section lower west,there we,re only eight regulars out of twenty to thirty odd that I say hello to at most matches who bothered to turn up, this was doubly annoying as it takes a lot of courage to start chants etc even when you are acquainted with them but when its strangers around you it can be quite daunting.sorry again,SEAGULLS

If you are going to offer the seats out to youth organizations, at what ever rate, would they not need time to put their visit together. The youth need to be supervised.

It is easy on the day to say, wow we have a lot of empty seats but by then it's too late. Last minute cheap seats might encourage people not to buy at full price, hang back hoping for a bargain.

Well, aren't you a piece of work. Why do you insult season ticket holders by calling them so called fans. How can you describe my wife and I and son as fickle when we stumped up £1875 for three season tickets in advance regardless of potential form and prospects and set aside our time for every home League match from the day the fixtures are announced. My father started watching from 1926 and became a STH when he could afford it followed by me, then my wife, then my son. How dare you suggest I and my wife as loyal fans for over 40 years should be regarded as fickle just because £123 seemed a lot to spend when for once, we could support from home. Does it even occur to you that the people around you might have been forced to find cheaper seats elsewhere? Frankly I doubt if they missed you either!! I will make my own choice regarding the next match too and I'm sure the glory hunters who went to the one match against Premier League opponents will still come second best to my priority for seats and rightly so.

The only striker this season to get the better of Adam el abd was that Watford guy who scored two against us. He was too quick across the ground and Adam could not catch him to pat him on the back of the head. He is a throw back to another era of centre back's. Wonderful ! Only just behind Liam and Wayne for our best player this season. IMHO

Ahhh poor you having the problem of starting chants around strangers, must be a hard life!!

Your first comment was rather insensitive given that many people clearly may not have the disposable income that you have. Not going to the cup match does not mean they are not "true fans"!! Comments like that wind me up.

As far as I'm concerned we should welcome any fan even those who attend one or two games per season!

I was there. Brighton lost 4-0. Same result this year.......I bet

I was there too. All their fans came in the back of the North Stand and there was much confusion and punches thrown, until the police got top side of things about 20 mins later, ha,ha! North Stand had no roof then i recall!
