COUGHS, colds and other winter-related nuisances kept many members away from February’s social morning.
Forthcoming events include a music hall evening and a trip to Robinsons Brewery.
A plea was issued on behalf of the gardening and allotment groups for various items, including slabs, water carrier and a shed; and for plants and seeds when ready for planting.
Middlewich U3A’s Susan Leicester gave her Entertainment with Susan Grenfell talk with a mixture of songs, poems and sketches by the much-loved Joyce Grenfell, Susan herself and other varied writers.
The next social morning will be on Monday, March 10 when Tony Bostock will speak about the Heraldic Screens on display in St Michael’s Church.
