Cork City prospect Brian Lenihan is poised for talks with Albion over a potential move to the Amex.
The Seagulls and an un-named second club, thought to be from the Premier League, have had bids accepted for the 20-year-old right-back.
Lenihan, speaking to reporters after he was pulled out of Cork's game against Bohemians last night, said: "Sunday I think, going to be heading over to meet with Brighton, I'm not really sure how it will go.
"All I ever wanted was to play football over in England, But I've really enjoyed it over here. I haven't given it much thought obviously because we've been heavily involved but now I know I'm going over I'm really looking forward to it."
