Danny Holla admits Albion must improve if they are to get back to winning ways at Ipswich.
But the Dutch midfielder reckons they did enough in yesterday’s 3-2 defeat at Brentford to offer cause for optimism.
Holla was not impressed with the Seagulls’ work in possession in a frantic battle at Griffin Park.
But he believes the amount of openings they still managed to create bodes well.
Holla admitted: “It will be difficult at Ipswich but, if we play with patience and how we can play, we will get a lot of chances.
“Even not playing well (at Brentford) we created a lot of chances.
“If we score from those chances it will be no problem.”
Holla brought Albion back into the game with a brilliant second-half strike.
But he was reluctant to offer an opinion as to whether they deserved a result.
He said: “It is difficult to say. We both had a lot of chances. They scored three, we scored two, but I think we could have scored more.”
