Jake Forster-Caskey is on course for a return to Albion's starting line-up at Ipswich tomorrow night.

But it will be a while before fellow young England prospect Solly March is back alongside him in the first team.

Forster-Caskey was rested to the bench for Saturday's 3-2 defeat at Brentford after his first start for England under-21s in Moldova last week.

Boss Sami Hyypia said: "We have a squad and I like to use the squad during the season. I don't think anyone can play all the games at a high level. Everyone has to be prepared that sometimes they are not starting and I would expect everybody to understand it as well, because we have a lot of games.

"Jake is one of the players who had played in every game and he went with England. He didn't play in the first game but he played in the second game.

"It was great that with the England set-up as well they controlled his workload a little bit, because he's a good trainer and he is training well and with intensity.

"We need to take care of him so that he is not getting injured and is as fresh as possible in every game."

March, meanwhile, has not featured so far following a back injury sustained in the pre-season friendly at Crawley.

Hyypia said: "It is very unfortunate for Solly, because he had a good pre-season and I was looking forward to seeing how he does in the League.

"But we need to be patient with him. I hope he has the patience as well to get himself 100 per cent fit before he comes back, because this kind of injury can come again when you start too early.

"I am trusting our medical department that we are patient with him. If it was a broken leg or muscle injury I think we could tell a little bit better that he would be fit in two months or what ever but nobody really exactly knows what is going on, so we don't know exactly when he will be back.

"We have to go day by day with how he feels."
