Kazenga LuaLua has urged Albion to relish tackling Premier League opponents in the cup.
The Seagulls will face Tottenham in the next round of the Capital One Cup after tonight’s 3-0 cruise at Burton Albion.
Sami Hyypia’s men go to White Hart Lane in the last week of October.
LuaLua, who scored the second goal tonight, said: “It’s a good test for everybody to face a Premier League side. We are buzzing to be through.
“Obviously it’s going to be tough, we are playing at their place.
“But we need to make the best of it and enjoy it.
“If we win it’s good, if we don’t then enjoy playing a Prem team.”
LuaLua broke away on a counter attack and cut inside to fire a superb goal.
He added: “There was one thing on my mind – run with the ball, cut inside, shoot. I do it all the time!
“It was nice to see the ball go in the back of the net.”
