Albion have “nothing to lose” in the last 16 of the Capital One Cup at Spurs.

That is the message from manager Sami Hyypia after his team were rewarded for easing past Burton Albion with a trip to White Hart Lane at the end of next month.

Championship leaders Nottingham Forest, Albion’s hosts on Saturday, were 1-0 up at Tottenham last night before the North London giants recovered to go through 3-1.

Hyypia said: “At home would have been better maybe, but you have to win all the games if you want to win the competition.

“We’ll go there with a challenge on our hands and actually nothing to lose. We can make it difficult for Spurs.”

Albion gave Spurs a run for their money in North London when a Championship side during Mark McGhee’s reign as manager, losing 2-1 in the FA Cup. The tie will take place in the week commencing October 27.
