David Stockdale admits he understands why some fans booed Albion today.
But he remains determined to help his side work their way up the table.
The Seagulls goalkeeper produced some fine saves in the 1-1 draw at home to Rotherham.
Perhaps his best two stops came in added time to secure the point.
But they did not head off an unhappy reaction to the final whistle by some supporters.
Stockdale said: “We understand why they are booing us.
“We feel the frustration. We want them to stick with us because they are a good set of fans.
“They have shown up today even though we are in the position we are.
“We’re doing everything we can to fight our way out.”
Stockdale added: “We are disappointed. We’re not losing but we are not picking up the points we should do.”“
