Albion were overpowered by Tottenham in the end last night.

But how did you rate their efforts at White Hart Lane?

The Seagulls weathered an early storm and reached half-time on level terms.

The introduction of Rabona king Erik Lamela helped make the breakthrough for Spurs nine minutes into the second period.

Albion still dug in - with Lewis Dunk and Aaron Hughes among those doing their reputations no harm at all.

And of course there was a special night behind them for Christian Walton.

But Harry Kane eventually added a second against a weary looking Albion defence.

So what do you make of it all? Did Albion do themselves proud? Or did you hope for more of a threat?

Where does it rank among those away cup trips which have seen the Seagulls struggle for top-flight scalps?

A good night, a bit disappointing or more or less as expected?

It wasn't carnage as at Liverpool. Nor was it surrender as at Stoke. They didn't threaten a comeback, like they did at Hull.

Arguably the tie was reminiscent of the FA Cup defeat at West Ham almost eight years ago, when Albion got to half-time on level terms, worked hard and left the field with pride intact - but never really worried their hosts.

But how did you see it? How are you feeling about it all in the cold light of day?

And we are talking about football here - not traffic!

We'd love to know your reflections on an atmospheric night at White Hart Lane.
