Albion have confirmed the signing of defensive midfielder Beram Kayal from Celtic, subject to securing a work permit for the Israeli international.
The 26-year-old passed a medical at the club's training complex in Lancing today and has agreed a two-and-a-half-year contract.
A work permit hearing will take place in London on Wednesday.
The fee agreed between the clubs is believed to be £325,000, with an extra £100,000 due if Albion are promoted to the Premier League by the summer of 2017.
Kayal is Albion's third signing of the January transfer window following the recapture of utility player Greg Halford on loan from Nottingham Forest and striker Leon Best on loan from Blackburn Rovers, both for the rest of the season.
