Former Albion winger Craig Conway will not be facing the Seagulls on Saturday.
Conway is on a long list of Blackburn Rovers players injured and ruled out of the clash at Ewood Park.
The Scot is sidelined by a hamstring injury sustained in last Saturday's 3-1 win at Charlton.
Boss Gary Bowyer was without eight first teamers for Tuesday's 3-2 home defeat by Brentford.
Connor Mahoney, 18, had to be named on the bench just 24 hours after playing a full game for the under-21s.
Bowyer is trying to make at least one signing before the emergency loan window closes next Thursday.
Rovers have scope to make two signings, either on loan or on free transfers, under the terms of their FInancial Fair Play embargo.
Their casualties include captain Grant Hanley (leg), an international rival to the Seagulls' Scottish centre-half and former Blackburn player Gordon Greer.
