ALBION chairman Tony Bloom has told fans there are no guarantees Lewis Dunk will stay.

Fulham have already made several bids for the 23-year-old centre-half, the last reportedly £4 million.

Speculation is also swirling around Dunk about potential interest from Newcastle now that Steve McClaren, an admirer when he was at Derby last season, is in charge at St James' Park.

Uncertainty surrounding the future of Newcastle captain Fabricio Coloccini was eased yesterday when he signed a one-year contract extension but Bloom, speaking at a fans' forum at the Amex last night, admitted: "It's not unusual for there to be interest in any club's best players and as we all know Lewis was superb last season.

"It would be ridiculous for me or any owner to say that a player is never for sale. There's always a price for any player.

"We absolutely wants Lewis to stay. We think he's a superb player, we hope he is here for a long time, but there's absolutely no guarantees and it would be ridiculous for me or anyone else at the club to say otherwise."
