Albion remain unbeaten in the Championship but they to settle for another draw today – despite a flying start.
The injury-hit Seagulls shared a 1-1 stalemate with Burnley despite going ahead in the first minute.
Bobby Zamora pounced after just 58 seconds to score from close range after Tomer Hemed’s shot had been tipped on to underside of the bar by Tom Heaton.
But the lead lasted until only the fourth minute, when Andre Gray converted a penalty (above) awarded after Lewis Dunk, Liam Rosenior and Michael Keane were involved in a tangle at a Burnley corner.
David Stockdale kept his side on level terms with a point-black save from Rouwen Hennings.
And Zamora headed narrowly over from Bruno’s cross just before the break.
The sides cancelled each other for much of the second half.
But Scott Arfield should have won it very late for the Clarets when he shot wide from Gray’s cut-back.
