Albion have suffered a further double injury blow, with Liam Rosenior and Kazenga LuaLua added to their casualty list for the rest of 2015.

The injury sustained by Rosenior in the first half of last Saturday's win against Birmingham at the Amex has been confirmed as medial ligament damage to his right knee.

LuaLua, meanwhile, has undergone minor surgery following a setback in his recovery from groin trouble which has ruled him out since mid-September.

Ex-Hull defender Rosenior, filling in at left-back for the injured Gaetan Bong (thigh), had to be stretchered off against Birmingham.

Coach Nathan Jones revealed today: "He has picked up a medial knee injury. We're waiting for a bit more information.

"It's one that is going to keep him out for a little spell. It's not as bad as it could have been but he is probably going to be out until the New Year.

"Any injury is disappointing but Liam is very versatile. He came probably as a right-back who can cover other places.

"He's played in an advanced area (right-midfield), did fantastically well, been a big part of how we've started and then, with the injury to Bong, he's covered at left-back and done fantastically well there.

"It's frustrating because he's a key member of our squad and our eleven. He's been in very good form plus he's such a good lad and good trainer and good around the place. It's disappointing for him but we have to move on."

Inigo Calderon replaced Rosenior against Birmingham and will deputise at left-back during a hectic December, beginning with Charlton's visit on Saturday.

Albion will still be without explosive left-winger LuaLua throughout December as well after a setback in his recovery from groin trouble sustained in training in-between the September games against Wolves and Bolton.

Jones told The Argus: "Kazenga's just had a minor procedure. We've had to tidy something up, because he was just feeling it a little bit when he came back training.

"We've taken him back a little, so hopefully him and the others will be back for the New Year. There is no real timescale on it because someone like Kazenga is so important to the squad and what we do.

"You can't rush him and he is such a potent athlete, that's the problem."

Albion are now missing four first team regulars until January. Striker Sam Baldock (thigh) is also on the sidelined list with Rosenior, LuaLua and Bong.
