ALBION are expected to add another young striker to their under-21 ranks today.

But Seagulls fans are waiting to learn whether any more senior talent arrives as business closes in the mid-season transfer window.

Dorchester Town have revealed they have agreed a fee for their 18-year-old frontrunner Jonah Ayunga, who has scored seven goals this season.

The Argus understands the deal remains subject to personal terms being agreed.

Dorchester, who play in the Southern League, expect Ayunga to complete the move today although, as per club policy, Albion have offered no comment until the transfer is complete.

Ayunga would initially go into the under-21 set-up where he would join recent addition Henrik Bjordal.

Dorchester say the fee could eventually break their own club record.

Ayunga was linked with Reading and was pulled out of his club’s game on Saturday.

The transfer window closes at 11pm with many fans still hoping to see Albion add a striker to their promotion-chasing squad.

They were linked with a loan move for creative Tottenham midfielder Alex Pritchard, along with Burnley and Middlesbrough.

But he last night looked set to join the Clarets with sources closes to the Turf Moor outfit saying that is his preferred option.

As reported by The Argus on Saturday, Albion midfielder Rohan Ince is expected to go on loan to Fulham ahead of the deadline.

Meanwhile, the Seagulls under-21s are in action at Crawley tonight as they face their Wolves counterparts (7pm).
