Angry Charlton fans are ready to stage “massive demonstrations” during Albion’s crunch game at the Valley.

But the action group CARD are not revealing how they plan to demonstrate against owner Roland Duchatelet.

The Seagulls will be keen to have no disruptions as they chase the win which could send them into the promotion places.

Charlton beat Middlesbrough last month in a match which saw fans throw beach balls on to the pitch to stop the game and, in an echo of Albion supporters’ famous protests of the 1990s, blow whistles from the stands.

Albion fans are likely to have sympathy with their Addicks counterparts – but anxious for the match not to be affected.

A source close to Charlton believes a pitch invasion is unlikely.

CARD, which stands for Coalition Against Roland Duchatelet, tweeted: “We are planning massive demonstrations before, during & after Sat’s match v #bhafc. More details will follow.”

Meanwhile, Preston midfielder Alan Browne says his side are “100% up for it” as they plan to derail Burnley’s promotion push.

The Lancashire neighbours lock horns at Deepdale tomorrow with Burnley looking to move three points clear of the third-placed Seagulls.

Preston are likely to be without first-choice goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard due to a shoulder injury.

Chris Kirkland, who kept a clean sheet against Albion last month, is the obvious replacement.

Preston have gone four games without a win while Burnley are undefeated in 20.

Browne said: “I know the results make it look like we have gone off the boil but there’s real determination to do well.

“We know what is at stake for Burnley and we will be 100% up for it.”
