Albion fans will get a first glimpse of a summer signing tonight.

But boss Chris Hughton has warned not to read anything into any combinations he sends out in the friendly against Fulham at Aldershot (7.45pm).

Tyler Hornby-Forbes is added to the party after his summer switch from Fleetwood.

Danny Holla will also be involved and there could be minutes for Jake Forster-Caskey.

None of the three were involved in the 4-0 win at Crawley on Saturday.

Hughton last night confirmed Richie Towell will not play tonight or on Saturday due to a knee problem which is not considered serious while Elvis Manu will miss the trip to Aldershot due to illness.

Hornby-Forbes is one of the summer signings brought in initially for the under-21s but with a view to pushing for senior action before too long.

Hughton told The Argus: “It’s a good opportunity for me to see him.

“I’ve seen video of the boy but not seen too much of him live.

“But he has obviously played a good level at Fleetwood and wants to play senior football.

“Elvis has been ill for a couple of days which is a shame as he has been training well but he’ll play on Saturday.

“Richie has been feeling his knee and will miss the next two games but he has had a really good pre-season.”

Hughton will take a sizeable squad tonight and limit minutes for individual players.

He said: “Don’t read anything into who plays. It’s still all about getting playing time. Things change a bit in the last couple of games and before that we have games on Saturday when we can increase the minutes.”

Hughton is still keen to add a striker to his squad but The Argus understands Vidar Kjartansson of Malmo is not a target.

Albion are reported to be scouting the Icelandic international by sources in Sweden.
