Albion boss Chris Hughton has eased concerns about a mounting injury crisis as Dale Stephens and Liam Rosenior went off in tonight's 4-0 friendly win at Oxford United.
Burnley transfer target Stephens departed before a flurry of substitutions early in the second half with a knee knock - after missing recent friendlies with similar damage.
Right-back Liam Rosenior made his exit shortly before the interval.
Hughton told The Argus: "The only reason we took Dale off was because we were changing everybody four minutes later. He just got a kick, so he's fine.
"He is very comfortable with it and he could have carried on.
"Liam got in effect a dead calf, a knee into his calf. It will be sore for a couple of days but he'll be fine."
Albion are already without long-term victims Solly March (knee) and Uwe Huenemeier (groin), along with Connor Goldson, Steve Sidwell and Richie Towell (all knee).
