Niki Maenpaa makes his English league debut tonight – as one of four Albion changes.
The Finnish international goalkeeper adds to four cup appearances as he replaces injured David Stockdale at home to Rotherham.
Boss Chris Hughton has also made three unenforced alterations – including a double switch in central midfield.
Dale Stephens makes his first start of the season and Ollie Norwood his first for the club as Beram Kayal and Steve Sidwell drop to the bench.
Jamie Murphy, who scored twice here a week ago against Colchester, gets the nod on the left ahead of Jiri Skalak.
Veteran goalkeeper Casper Ankergren is among the subs.
Injury-hit Rotherham only name six substitutes and are likely to play with three centre-backs.
Their new loan siging Izzy Brown, a winger from Chelsea, did not register in time for tonight's game and hopes that Kirk Broadfoot could defy a back problem have been dashed.
Former Albion lonee Greg Halford is among their absentees.
