Bruno is fit to make his 57th Championship appearance on the trot for Albion against Barnsley at the Amex on Saturday.

The 35-year-old skipper and rightback was replaced in the second half of last Saturday's 1-0 win at Burton by league debutant Rob Hunt.

Bruno was taken off in Staffordshire as a precaution, due to a groin niggle which had limited his involvement in training.

Boss Chris Hughton confirmed today his captain is fine for Barnsley's visit. Hughton also reported no fresh injury worries ahead of the clash against the promoted Yorkshiremen.

Solly March's latest comeback is likely to be for the under-23s in the Premier League Cup against Nottingham Forest at the training ground in Lancing on Saturday week (2pm).

Hughton told The Argus: "We have three games coming up. Monday (West Ham away), the under-23 Premier Cup on the Saturday and then on Tuesday at Stevenage (Football League Trophy).

"He will play in one of those games, or two. Probably not Monday, it's more likely to be the Saturday."

The Argus: A minor shin injury has slowed the recovery of March (above) from nine months out with cruciate knee ligament damage.
