Albion have re-united Tomer Hemed and Glenn Murray in attack as they tackle Barnsley.
Chris Hughton has opted to use two specialist strikers at home to the Tykes after employing wingers Anthony Knockaert and Jamie Murphy in the hole in the last two league games.
Murray replaces Murphy in the starting XI which kicked off at Burton last week against a Barnsley side unbeaten in their last 13 away games, dating back to last February.
Jiri Skalak again gets first crack on the left flank.
On the bench, Sam Baldock returns to the 18 for the first time in the league since his red card at Newcastle four weeks ago.
Barnskey are missing injured left-back Aidan White so Cole Kpekawa comes in. Marley Watkins replaces Ryan Kent as their other change to last week's 2-1 home defeat by ten-man Reading.
