Albion have handed Sebastien Pocognoli his league debut for the club and brought back Ollie Norwood.

The duo both come into the XI to face Ipswich at Portman Road tonight in place of the suspended Gaetan Bong and injured Beram Kayal.

They are the only changes to the XI which kicked off the home win over Barnsley on Saturday.

Midfield star Kayal suffered an ankle injury in that game and was today left out of Israel’s latest international squad, suggesting he will also miss the game at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

Pocognoli looked good in the first half of last week’s League Cup defeat at Reading before running out of steam in the second period.

He starts tonight after Bong picked up a fifth booking of the season on Saturday. Elvis Manu is recalled to the bench.

Ipswich added defender Adam Webster and striker Brett Pitman to their lengthy injury list as they lost 1-0 at Leeds on Saturday.

Pitman’s absence means a first start for the Tractor Boys for former Albion loanee Leon Best and a return for right-back Josh Emmanuel, with skipper Luke Chambers switching infield to central defence. Kevin Bru replaces Tommy Sears as the other change.

Ipswich: Bialkowski; Emmanuel, Chambers, Berra, Knudsen; Ward, Skuse, Douglas, Bru; Lawrence; Best. Subs: Gerken, Bishop, Digby, Sears, Dozzell, Grant, Kenlock.

Albion: Stockdale, Bruno, Dunk, Duffy, Pocognoli; Knockaert, Norwood, Stephens, Skalak; Murray, Hemed. Maenpaa (GK), Hunt, Goldson,Sidwell, Murphy, Baldock, Manu.
