Albion have named an unchanged starting line-up to face Preston today – despite the return from suspension of Dale Stephens.
The Seagulls go with the XI which earnt a 2-1 win at Sheffield Wednesday going into the international break.
That means the midfield pairing of Ollie Norwood – a player once signed by current Preston boss Simon Grayson for Huddersfield – and Steve Sidwell continue.
Stephens is on the bench after serving a one-match ban while Beram Kayal is out injured.
There is no Tomer Hemed in the 18 after his three-goal international sojourn with Israel.
Preston make three changes to the side which beat Aston Villa 2-0 a fortnight ago.
They also revert to a 3-5-2 formation, which they often play away from Deepdale.
First choice left-back Greg Cunningham serves a one-match ban, ending his ever-present record this term, so Tommy Spurr comes in as left wing-back.
Paul Huntington starts as one of the three centre-backs in place of Bailey Wright, who was in Melbourne in midweek to represent Australia.
Chris Humphrey comes into the side as right wing-back with right-winger Aiden McGeady ruled out by a hamstring problem.
Albion: Stockdale; Bruno, Duffy, Dunk, Bong; Knockaert, Sidwell, Norwood, Murphy; Murray, Baldock. Subs: Maenpaa, Goldson, Pocognoli, Ince, Stephens, Skalak, Manu.
Preston: Maxwell; Clarke, Huntington, Baptiste; Humphrey, Pearson, Johnson, Welsh, Spurr; Robinson, Hugill. Subs: Lindegaard, Wright, Browne, Pringle, Gallagher, Doyle, Makienok.
