Albion came from behind to win for the sixth time in what is now almost five-and-a-half season at the Amex.

The 2-1 success over Fulham was their third victorious fightback in the last 13 months.

And it might have just brought a few memories back for Amex regulars.

The Seagulls have retrieved matters attacking the North Stand in the second half after trailing 1-0 four times and 2-0 once at half-time.

Having said that, all of the first-half damage has been done beneath the gaze of the North Stand as well!

The Argus: Will Buckley hits his memorable winner against Doncaster as George Friend closes in

Will Buckley completes the turn-around against Doncaster

Will Buckley entered club folklore with his second-half double to beat Doncaster in the first league match ever staged at the venue.

Comeback No.2 did not come for more than two years, when Spanish Dave’s own goal on Spanish Day was answered by three home goals in the second half to beat Bolton.

Basque (not Spanish!) full-back Inigo Calderon scores in a 3-1 comeback win v Bolton on Spanish Day

David Lopez diverted a cross into his own net but, in a five-minute second-half period, Jay Spearing returned the favour with a glancing header before Inigo Calderon and Buckley wrapped up the points.

There was something of a false dawn to the 2014-15 season when, with new signings arriving, Albion built on their 2-0 midweek win at Leeds to beat Bolton 2-1.

This time, Craig Mackail-Smith had them level by half-time.

The new boys fight back to beat Bolton - and everything's going to be all right

Joao Teixeira capped the comeback in the second half after good work by his fellow new boy Joe Bennett.

The three most recent comebacks have come in the last ten games in which Albion have conceded first at the Amex.

At long, long last - Bobby Zamora gets to celebrate an Albion strike with home fans behind the goal

Sam Baldock levelled and Bobby Zamora hit the winner against Bristol City 13 months ago as 0-1 became 2-1.

Albion then came from 2-0 down to beat Charlton through James Wilson, Bobby Zamora and Tomer Hemed.

But perhaps none of the above were against opponents who had looked as good as Fulham.

In total, the Seagulls have conceded the first goal in 46 of their 125 league games at the Amex since August 2011 and fought back for six wins and 19 draws, losing 21.

The Argus:

Charlton were there for the taking once James Wilson had done this

It does not always go the way home fans want and, whisper it, Murray has also scored in a notable comeback by an away team!

Albion have lost after scoring first to Nottingham Forest (twice), Derby, Crystal Palace and, of course, yesterday’s victims - Fulham.
