Kazenga LuaLua is ready for an immediate QPR debut – thanks to extra work put in with Albion.

The winger wants to face Reading tonight after signing on loan at Loftus Road for the rest of the season.

He has not played in the Championship since going on as sub against his old club Newcastle at the end of August but he could feature for Ian Holloway’s side as they look to dent the Royals’ promotion push.

LuaLua, pictured, said: “It’s not too soon for me at all. I’ve been training for the last three weeks with Brighton.

“After training I’ve usually done extra as well with one of the staff members at Brighton.”

LuaLua has not started a Championship game since Albion’s win at Nottingham Forest nine months ago yesterday.

He spoke to his brother Lomana Tresor, who played for Holloway at Blackpool, before completing his loan move.

LuaLua revealed: “He said a lot of good things about him (Holloway) to me and you can tell he is a good manager.”

Holloway was in playful mood when asked by media whether he would throw LuaLua straight in at the Madejski.

He said: “I don’t think I can tell you about LuaLua – I’d have to kill you!

“Of course he is in the squad.

“Every time I’ve seen him I’ve told him how good he can be. It’s definitely our gain. He can get past people.”

Media sources in West London believe LuaLua could get about an hour at Reading.
